Common questions
How many children can take part?
Field trips run in rotations of 16 to 25 children, and running several sections lets a school reach 100 to 150 children in a day; a larger school gets more than one day rather than bigger groups, so every child takes part and every station stays hands-on; the after-school program and summer camp need at least 10 children per site.
How are programs priced?
The after-school program and summer camp are priced per child at a published standard rate, larger groups can be discounted by quote, and field trips are quoted for each school based on group size, number of stations, length of each day, number of days and travel.
Do you offer a discount for larger groups?
Yes, Career Lab Live can discount any of its programs for a larger group, but every discount is quoted for that group, case by case, and is never automatic: the published per-child prices are the standard rate, and a school or site asks for a group quote through the contact form or by emailing team@careerlablive.org.
Who leads the activities?
Trained Career Lab Live facilitators lead the activities, and teachers receive a kickoff presentation and follow-up materials so the learning carries on in class.
How do the activities connect to what we teach?
Career Lab Live activities are written to fit Georgia's K-12 Mathematics Standards (2023) and K-12 English Language Arts Standards (2025) for grades K-6; that alignment is Career Lab Live's own judgment, not an endorsement by the Georgia Department of Education or any district.
